This is the best orthodontist office I have ever been to. They care about they patients, and make everyone feel welcome. Most importantly, they don’t try to up charge you or break your bank. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Dr. McKelvain is hilarious!

My daughter sees Dr. McKelvain and we couldn't be happier with him and his staff. Although the current pandemic has slowed our appointments down, they take every precaution to keep everyone safe. Personally, I haven't had orthodontic work done, but the staff have made everything painless as far as setting up appointments to answering all of our questions, taking the time to explain everything. 10/10 would reccomend!

We are do happy with Dr. Mac. He is friendly and so funny! My daughter loves him. Having an orthodontist your kid likes helps so much with a something like braces. I recommend him to everyone. They explain every in detail and never have a problem fitting us in with emergencies or having to reschedule and appointment. I highly recommend.

Dr. McKelvain is such a sweet Orthodontist. My child enjoys going to the dentist to see Dr. Mckelvain "Dr.Mck" every time and his staff are the sweetest people i've ever met! Britani and Mindy at the front desk in Arlington are such sweetie pies! Love this office!

I've been coming here for 7 years now and am always greeted with smiling faces and impeccable service. Dr. McKelvain is one of the funniest people you will ever meet and genuinely cares about how you're doing. Not to mention my teeth look great!

Dr. Mc has been my orthodontist for over 2 years now. I probably had the most messed up teeth an orthodontist have seen. I consulted with 3 other orthodontists and none of them accepted me because they didn’t think they could help me. However, Dr Mc welcomed me assuring me that they’ll get me fixed up. I have a few months left and I never would’ve thought my teeth could ever look like this. Amazing place with amazing service!

The office staff is so easy and pleasant to work with on billing, scheduling and getting any information. As for the Dr he is exception. Not only is he great at what he does but he has an awesome personality and my daughter loves his humor and says that they make it a fun and comfortable experience each time! I would highly recommend this office and Dr!

Conservative, top-notch Orthodontics! After researching Ortho in the Arlington area, we went with the recommendations of friends and more than one general dentist and came to McKelvain Orthodontics and I am so glad we did. After seeing my daughter, he determined that the Oral Surgery we were previously told she needed was unnecessary. Since then, using much more conservative methods she is well on her way to achieving her treatment goals. As a Dental Hygienist I appreciate the clean office, as a Mom I appreciate the financial aspect, and as a client I enjoy the friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience! I came in just to have my permanent retainer repaired, and doctor McKelvain did a quick exam, gave me some tips for my bite, and got it glued back in very quickly. I contacted them the night before and they were able to get me in for the repair the next morning. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love Dr. Mac!! I seriously have to drag our daughter out of the building when it’s time to go...so that should really tell you something and I haven’t even mentioned her teeth! They are beautiful already and we are only six months into her treatment plan. He’s a wonderful orthodontist, has a wonderful staff, and he’s creating a wonderful smile!! ❤️😁

Our experience with Dr. McKelvain has been outstanding. He is very personable. His staff takes time to explain the treatment(s) they provide to their clients. As for the financial aspect, they will work a plan out best for you. They treat you like you’re family. I’ve this office and without a doubt recommend them.

I went here to get my braces! Everyone here is super upbeat and happy and they walk you through everything when you get your braces or Invisalign on and when they take them off! While on a business trip I needed emergency care to my braces. I was nearby to Dr. Garland Mckelvain Orthodontics clinic and simply dropped in, no phone, no appointment. They were just great. Saw me immediately, provided emergency care for my issue and also refused to charge me. I wish to thank and recommend the great team at Dr. Garland Mckelvain Orthodontics. They are now my definite go to clinic in any case of future emergency when I am visiting DFW

Dr McKelvain was able to get me in quick and was very thorough. He was straight with me and told me my options. Unlike most people, his suggestion was to work with a dentist to get the fix. He gave me his honest opinion rather than trying to sell me an expensive Invisalign service. I was very impressed and grateful. He truly did the best for his patient, not his bank account.

I started as an adult patient of Dr. Mac's back in 1989, and was in treatment for six years. A few years later my daughter got her braces from him, too, and has a beautiful smile. A couple of months ago I decided I needed a new retainer (I hadn't worn mine for 14 years and - surprise - it didn't fit!) so I went in to get a new one. He's just the same, Janice is still there, efficient and friendly as ever, and the whole staff is just as friendly and welcoming as they can be. It's not like 20 years have passed; it's like I never left. If you've ever been a patient, it's like you're family. He's the best, bar none.

We have been going to Dr. McKelvain for over a year now. While it's not easy having braces as a child, he makes it so much easier! His whole office works together to make visits easy. I have never felt confused by any part of the braces process. They work hard to make sure you understand everything from day one. And, you feel like family when you are there. I would recommend Dr. Mc to any child who needed braces.

Dr. McKelvain gave me braces in junior high and did the same for my younger brother and sister. We all have grear smiles now! The staff is friendly and cheerful. Both Dr. Mac's offices areally clean and welcoming to both kids and adults. Special thanks to Dr. Mac for saving the day! I'm no longer a patient but my permanent retainer (10 years old now?) needed emergency repair the day before leaving for my brother's wedding in Mexico and Dr. Mac took care of me at the last minute. I haven't seen Dr. Mac or his staff in years but as soon as I walked in, they treated me like I hadn't ever left. Now my smile will be all set for the beach!

Dr. McKelvain was my brother's orthodontist and is now mine. I could not be happier with my choice in an orthodontist. I was on the fence about invisalign, but recently I had to have my impressions re-done and I got to be his first patient to use the new wand that takes 3-D images of your teeth. I was so impressed. My new trays fit like a glove and don't even hurt when I move on to the next set. This technology is amazing and I highly recommend invisalign and Dr. McKelvain. His entire staff is so sweet, but Britani goes above and beyond to take care of me. I recently moved to Colorado and still fly down to see Dr. McKelvain. Britani handles everything for me and is always willing to help work around my schedule and relocation. I couldn't ask for a better orthodontist and staff.
